Tody wears a light blazer which combines the uniqueness of the lurik and multi-coloured batik for its details. The flowers and the leaves were cut from the batik and arranged in such way so that the lurik shines in the spotlight.

This design so much inspired by the travelers that going places. Initially I have this thought of what to wear when I have to travel or fly for hours, something simple and light but still stylish, plus promoting local fabrics to the world (Well, at least to the places that I go to).

Walking on the runway, Tody also carries a batik bag that has been custom-made only for the show. Batik for Indonesia.

Inspired by the local Javanese who always wear top and sarong in almost all occasion, this design highlights the use of batik tulis combines with chiffon with a hint of drapery technique at the edge to finish the whole look.

Light purple has been chosen to promote freshness and the modernity of the design. Knee length skirt makes it even more dynamic and sexy.

I love this shirt as it states LOVE at the back and ‘tresno’ (Javanese word for LOVE) at the front written in javanese character as it is. I myself handrawn the character before it magnified by the beads.

The dragonflies were taken from the batik tulis to symbolize such love would never die.

The backstage before the show – twenty three gorgeous models, one runway, the whole team of make up artist, plus one mega-choreographer and this is it! Truly memorable!
